INDUSTRIAL MEDICAL SCIENTIFIC

Since the beginning, LHERITIER has adapted its research and developments from one sector of activity to another. The advances and innovations specifically developed for one sector find synergies in other fields of activity.

In the engineering phase, industrial vision remains a business for the specialists. Nowadays, vision does not simply have its place at the end of the line for a final quality check, but also at many and numerous stages of the process, possibly even in the final product. LHERITIER knows how use its experience and specific developments to advantage to offer made-to-measure solutions that can be put to the service of industry.

Transport : Bus and Rail

Our cameras are a part of the optical guidance system which equips the buses of certain urban transport networks. The system allows the vehicle to follow an ideal trajectory painted on the road, with precision, and to draw closely up to the bus stop, giving the passengers easy and comfortable same level access between the platform and the vehicle and satisfying access requirements for all, and most particularly, for people with reduced mobility.

As early as 1999, LHERITIER had developed technological mastery in the field of “on-board” rail systems with the manufacture of on-board, rear-vision surveillance and guidance systems, advice on installation, camera protection and design of visualization racks and maintenance tools. Today, LHERITIER makes cameras and vision systems for this industry adapted for wider applications, like travel and track security, viewing of passages and tunnels and parking assistance.

Train equipped with on-board rear-vision surveillance and guidance system

French regional train (TER) equipped with an on-board rear-view system using the LH 702 C rail camera. The cameras, placed on each side of the head of the train, are protected by a protective housing and allow the train driver to keep an eye on the whole length of the outside of the train via monitors installed in the cabin.

High-speed Video

LHERITIER can provide you with High-speed Video systems (up to 400 images per second) to solve your assembly line production problems. A network of cameras continuously watches any sensitive areas and transmits the real time, exceptional quality images to a display and recording device. If there is a problem, the system identifies it immediately allowing you to intervene rapidly if necessary.

Cameras for use in aquatic and/or nuclear environments

Using experience acquired in the military domain by developing waterproof, pressure resistant, solid and robust cameras for use in marine environments, LHERITIER has managed to transpose its know-how towards industry.

We have mastered tube camera technology. These two-piece, compact, waterproof, remotely controlled cameras with their remote display of the captured images, are especially indicated for carrying out checks in industrial environments in underwater applications, for example, for inspection of the insides of pipes (water distribution networks), which are sometimes very narrow.

Other cameras from our range, adapted to marine environments, are embarked aboard automated underwater vehicles used for safety or scientific research, such as the inspection of offshore oil platforms, the surveillance of pipelines, observation of the sea bed and the study of marine animal and plant wildlife.

ROV

ROV (Remotely Operated Vehicle) Victor 6000, a submarine robot from IFREMER equipped with LHERITIER cameras. The machine’s high definition optical imaging allows scientists to follow operations, take photographs of the area explored, collect samples of the sea bed and carry out operations for oil platforms.

This range of tube CCD cameras can be adapted to withstand irradiated environments, and so, they are ideal for checking security in the pools and pipes of nuclear power stations.

Video Surveillance

Security cameras have to supply high resolution images 24 hours per day, day and night and in all weathers. In answer to your requirements, LHERITIER proposes its Colour or Black & White cameras with unique and patented Day/Night technology without any moving parts, which guarantee very high sensitivity to light and long lasting reliability. The DSP 1000 digital processor used in conjunction with these day/night cameras, makes real time image processing and photometric correction possible, thus eliminating defects and getting an image of unimagined clarity.
